*** Error: PVM is being run as user "root" ***!
This is not a good idea, and often doesn't work!
The root user cannot typically rsh/ssh to remote
computers over the network, to add them as hosts
to the PVM virtual machine.
You can install PVM in a system-wide directory,
with the files *owned* by user "root",
but you need to *run* PVM as a *regular* user!
*If* you know what you're doing, and you are
willing to accept the security risks, then you
can enable root execution of PVM by setting the
PVM_ALLOW_ROOT environment variable in your shell.
